Oil Infused Recipe : Honey Lavender Goat Cheese
Fellow Golden Drop gal Lyndsi Berthiaume told me about this recipe at convention last summer and ever since then I’ve been wanting to try and share it! Make it for a Galentines or Valentine's get together, or just because it's that good! - Lauren Dunaway
INGREDIENTS
8 oz goat cheese
¼ cup goats milk (or 3T whipped cream cheese if you prefer or can’t find goats milk)
2 T honey
2-3 drops Lavender Vitality*
*A note about adding oils to recipes: they are way more potent than spices or dried herbs, so start with one drop on the end of a toothpick, swirl it in and add more to taste!
RECIPE
Break the goat cheese into smaller pieces
Add the goat cheese, goats milk, honey, and Lavender Vitality to a food processor and blend for about 2 minutes until all ingredients are fully combined (you can do this by hand too!)
That’s it! It’s so ridiculously simple and so ridiculously good! You can serve this with figs or other fruit, provide crackers for dipping, or serve it on top of toast. If you want to experiment with flavors you can add some lemon zest too!
I love how easy this recipe is and it will probably be my go-to when I’m asked to bring something to get-togethers this spring! What’s your easy go-to recipe and tag a friend in the comments who’d love this recipe!
