Tailgating Season

At the beginning of the season it's still hot outside, so here are some great oils to keep on hand at your tailgate. Peppermint, lavender, and eucalyptus are all great for keeping some annoying insects at bay. You can diffuse them or make a spray with 15 drops of each, water and a splash of witch hazel.
DIY GRILL CLEANER
Here's a simple recipe to that will get your grill in great shape!
You will need:
¼ cup baking soda
2 tablespoons Thieves dish soap
5 drops lemon essential oil
white vinegar
Directions:
Mix together the first 3 ingredients. Add vinegar until the consistency thickens
Brush mixture on the grill grate and let sit for 15–30 minutes.
Use a damp scouring pad or grill brush to scrub. Rinse off.
HONEY LIME CHICKEN WINGS
Impress the crowd with these irresistible wings!
You will need:
3 drops lime vitality essential oil
¼ cup honey
4 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons coconut aminos
¼ teaspoon Tabasco sauce
4 pounds chicken wings; washed and patted dry
Coarse sea salt
Directions:
Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl. Add wings and toss. Cover and refrigerate, for 3 to 8 hours.
Heat grill or grill pan to medium heat. Oil grill grates with vegetable oil. Add wings and cook, stirring occasionally, until skin is crisp and meat is cooked through, 15 to 20 minutes. Enjoy!!
