Oil Infused Recipe : Berry Fresh Fruit Salad
Fresh berries in season are one of my absolute favorite things! You could use any berries you have on hand and you could serve this without the yogurt and have it as a side for all the summer cookouts coming up!
INGREDIENTS
6 oz. blackberries
6 oz. raspberries
2 pints blueberries
2 lbs. strawberries
6 oz. vanilla yogurt (I use greek yogurt or vanilla cashew yogurt)
2 Tbsp thinly sliced fresh mint leaves
6 drops Orange Vitality
INSTRUCTIONS
Wash and drain berries, removing the hulls from strawberries, and cut strawberries into smaller pieces.
Combine the yogurt, sliced mint leaves, orange essential oil, in a bowl and stir to combine.
Gently fold the yogurt and berries together, cover, and refrigerate for several hours before serving.
You could add some sweetener like a little bit of honey or stevia to this if you wanted to!
A friend of mine mentioned to me the other day that she had fresh fruit cut up on the table every night for dinner and that's something I'm going to start doing with my girls so I might be making this berry salad this week without the yogurt!
