Meal Prep
I LOVE a Sunday where I take time to look at the week ahead, plan our meals and take some time prepping for the week. Rinsing, peeling and chopping seem so therapeutic to me when I’m not in a rush. -Katie Weber
MEAL PREP TIPS
-Pick one day a week and set aside several hours to prep your meals for the week.
-Find a great oil to put in the diffuser (We love Motivation, Brain Power or Clarity!)
-Put on your favorite playlist - I recently found Magnolia Market at the Silos playlist and it is such a fun one!
-Rinse all your produce first. Thieves fruit & veggie wash is great for cleaning large amounts of produce! Just add a small amount to a basin of water, soak and rinse.
-Pre-chop any grab and go veggies - carrots, peppers, celery, etc.
-Roast some veggies so you can have them easily accessible to reheat.
-Love this tip: pre-bagging nuts or pre-portioning out hummus is a great way to have healthy snacks on the go!
-Cook a batch of grains to have ready to go.
This is my all-time favorite quinoa recipe: https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/coconut-quinoa
-Grill some meat to put on salads or have ready to go for weeknight recipes.
-And if you’re on a roll, go ahead and make some overnight oats or chia pudding!
Do you meal prep? Would love to hear what you do to make your weeks run smoother!
