Ginger and Apple Cider Salt Bath
GINGER & APPLE CIDER BATH SALTS
We love this combination of salts & oils especially after a few holiday indulgences. Heat things up with this decadent and warming bath soak. The ginger will make you sweat, flushing gout toxins and unclogging your pores. The sea and Epsom salts provide the skin with a feast of minerals (such as calcium potassium and magnesium). The apple cider vinegar helps improve dry skin.
INGREDIENTS:
20 ounce container
1 cup Epsom salt
1 cup sea salt
½ cup baking soda
10 drops Orange essential oil
6 drops Ginger essential oil
4 drops Patchouli essential oil
3 tablespoons ground ginger
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1.5 cups apple cider vinegar
HOW TO:
Step 1: Combine the Epsom & sea salts with the baking soda, ground ginger and cinnamon in your container. Drop in your Orange, Ginger and Patchouli essential oils
Step 2: Fill your tub with warm water and pour in the apple cider vinegar. Then add 3 tablespoons of the salt mixture and stir into the water until completely dissolved. (Keep your spoon dry as to not get water into the container of your salt mixture.)
Step 3: Step in the tub and soak for at least 30 minutes. The longer the better! When you’re done, gently blot your skin with a towel.
Use your bath salt mixture for up to 8 months!
