Mood Boosting Oils

 

The smells of citrus remind us of summer sunshine and all the sunny good feels, right? But Citrus Oil benefits for Emotional Health go way deeper than that! Here are two reasons why Citrus EOs help our Emotions:

  1. They contain Limonene, a compound that are potent free radical scavengers. Less oxidative stress (Free Radicals) = Less Negative Emotions!

  2. They contain compounds that boost your mood- every time, increasing calming neurotransmitters in our brains.

One of my personal favorite ways to use them is adding any combination of citrus oils to the diffuser combined with peppermint or spearmint. Literally these make me SO happy and give me a boost of energy!
