End of the Year Reflection
Oftentimes, we think about goals for the new year, but it's a great idea to look back on the previous year to learn and reflect. As we learn from the things that worked and didn't work, it will better prepare us for the year ahead. -Katie Weber
END OF YEAR RETREAT
I've been SO inspired by Lesley Williams Graham and how her family takes an intentional retreat after the holidays.
Here are some tips she shared on how to do this:
Find a getaway spot - even if you don't leave your house, set up a space where you won't get distracted and can be fully present.
Prep in advance with questions and your calendar so you can look back. Here are some questions to get you started: https://instituteofyou.org/year-in-review-50-powerful.../
Include your family or those closest to you.
Take time to do a recap of the past year and list out the big events that occurred in 2021.
Take time to determine what each person wants more of in the coming year.
Include your kids! It's amazing what insight they bring to this reflection!
Look for patterns and make some goals for the year ahead based on this.
EXTRA
Come up with a word of the year for each person or one word for your family.
Select an oil that is special to you and will remind you of this end of year reflection. Diffuse it every time you want to be inspired and propelled forward.
How do you reflect back and set goals for the year ahead? We love hearing how people intentionally plan for their year ahead!
