DIY Reed Diffuser

This makes a great hostess gift for spring time gatherings and is such an easy DIY! -

YOU WILL NEED:

  • Glass or ceramic bottle with narrow opening

  • 6-10 bamboo skewers

  • Almond or safflower oil

  • Your choice of essential oils - lavender and rose oil are what we used!

INSTRUCTIONS :

  • Add 1/4 cup almond/safflower oil into glass or ceramic bottle

  • Add 12-15 drops essential oils to glass/ceramic bottle

  • Place one end of the reeds or skewers into the solution, allowing it to saturate the reeds. Take them out and place the opposite ends into the bottle.

  • Rotate which ends are in the scent solution about once a week.

This is such a lovely gift and also makes a great piece for your home. We would love to see pictures if you make your own reed diffuser! Enjoy!
