Oil Infused Recipe : Grilling Marinades
It’s getting warmer, well it is in some places, and these Vitality-infused marinades are the perfect thing to change up your grilling routine this spring and summer. Each of these recipes is enough for about 1-2 pounds of meat or protein of your choice and there is something for everybody! These recipes are all from the Young Living blog.
CITRUS MARINADE
¾ cup olive or other oil
1/3 cup soy sauce or coconut aminos
1 tablespoon grated onion
Juice of 1 lemon
2 drops Orange Vitality
2 drops Lemon Vitality
1 drop Ginger Vitality
MEDITERRANEAN MARINADE
¾ cup olive oil
½ cup soy sauce or coconut aminos
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1 drop Oregano Vitality
2 drops Lemon Vitality
1 drop Black Pepper Vitality
HONEY LIME MARINADE
3/4 cup olive or other oil
½ cup soy sauce or coconut aminos
½ teaspoon ground mustard
1 tablespoon honey
3 drops Lime Vitality essential oil
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
For all of these, you will combine all ingredients and pour over your meat in a shallow glass bowl or baking pan. Then cover and refrigerate the meat for 1-4 hours before grilling! Make sure to discard the marinade after using it.
