DIY Sleep Balm

For an extra dreamy nights sleep I love this recipe. Both Lavender and Vetiver have relaxing and calming properties to help calm your body and mind as you drift off to sleep. Rub on the soles of the feet, chest or behind your ears. -Rebecca McClelland

INGREDIENTS:

HOW TO:

  • In a double boiler, melt the beeswax and coconut oil over low heat.

  • Once it becomes liquid, remove from heat. Add the sweet almond or grapeseed oil, and mix to incorporate all oils thoroughly.

  • Add in the essential oils and stir.

  • Pour into a 4 oz glass jar, and allow to cool. Be sure to store the balm in a glass container if possible because glass is nonporous and will keep the integrity of the oils for longer.

    Does the time change affect your sleep cycle? Or your littles? This balm is the sweetest addition to the night time routine.
