Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and we wanted to share some fun and easy recipes for treats you can make at home with your oils! These truffles are the perfect treat and would be perfect for a Galentine’s celebration too ! - Lauren Dunaway
INGREDIENTS
16 ounces of dairy-free dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup full-fat organic coconut milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
½ tsp. sea salt
5 drops Peppermint Vitality
Add-ons of your choice! (chopped nuts, cacao or cocoa powder, powdered sugar, shredded coconut, etc.)
RECIPE
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler until smooth.
Heat the coconut milk to almost boiling (but not quite), and then add it to the chocolate.
Add vanilla extract, salt, and peppermint and whisk until smooth.
Then, refrigerate about an hour (or longer) until hardened (but still soft).
Scoop out (about the size of a larger gumball) and roll into little balls and set aside.
Once the balls are rolled, set up your toppings in individual bowls and gently roll until evenly coated.
Store in the fridge or freezer until ready to serve, pulling out an hour or so before.
This recipe is from here and is super easy to make! You could even change the oil out for Ginger or Cinnamon, whatever you want!
