Snowed In Game Night
Whether it’s still snowing where you live and you’re snuggling to stay warm, or whether your schedule is ramping up and you need a night in before things get really crazy, we’ve got all the tips for the best game night at home. - Stephanie Bennett
Set your space by diffusing Gathering + Grapefruit for all the togetherness vibes or even a starter kit combo of Lemon + Peppermint to awaken the senses and get everyone ready for some friendly competition.
Stock up on snacks! Let everyone in the group select their favorite for sharing – nothing is off limits. Consider letting dinner be a snack-fest or a bounty of appetizers. Margarita popcorn is perfect, and peppermint brownies (add a few drops of Peppermint Vitality to a basic box mix) are super easy!
Decide on your game line-up. At our house we’re loving Uno Flip, Pass the Pigs, Sequence, Quixx, Jungle Speed, and Dominoes. Keep a running score all night across all the games you play and crown a Game Night Grand Champion. Find lots of game ideas for kids, teens, and adults here!
Throw in a friendly indoor snowball fight as part of the competition. You can ball up white copy paper or even clean out everyone’s sock drawers for ammunition. Blanket forts make great bases as you play across the living room or across the house. Up the stakes and turn it into a competition. Each time you get hit, you have to surrender 3 snowballs from your stockpile. Accumulate as many snowballs as you can once they start flying, and the team with the most in their base at the end of the game wins.
