Even in a year like 2020, the holiday season can sometimes feel rushed and hurried, and we want to be intentional about choosing slow! Here are a few ideas for savoring this sweet time of year. -Ashley Cribb

CALMING BLENDS

There isn't much better than a delicious, calming blend pumping in the diffuser when you're curled up on the couch reading, playing or watching a movie with loved ones! These blends also make great rollers!!!

  • Merry & Bright: Bergamot, Vanilla, Orange

  • Silent Nights: Lavender, Northern Lights Black Spruce (free this month!!!), Vanilla, Orange

  • Heavenly Peace: Valor, Orange or Tangerine, Frankincense (free this month!!!)

POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS

One thing I've been really intentional about is stopping throughout the day to consider the things I'm thinking and telling myself. Am I focusing on a lack of time, a long to-do list? Or am I able to see what is essential on the list and be present with whatever I'm doing? I've been using a couple oils daily and repeating positive affirmations as I apply and breathe them in! Here are some ideas you can tweak to your own needs!

  • Abundance Oil Blend: I have an abundance of time... energy.. patience... finances... etc. I have an abundant life.

  • Present Time Oil Blend: I am fully present with those around me, savoring the time I have with them.

  • Frankincense Oil: I am calm... safe... valued... enough... I am grounded in who I am

SCRIPTURE & MEDITATION

No matter our beliefs we can all benefit from the stillness of meditation. Whether you choose to pair it with scripture, prayer or just silence, finding even five minutes to be silent and still can help us slow down and find the beauty in this season! Here are few tools to check out & some oil pairing ideas!

  • Headspace App

  • Abide Bible Meditation App

  • Dwell App

  • Oils: Frankincense, Northern Lights Black Spruce, Valor, Present Time, Myrrh, any of the 'tree' oils or a blend that speaks to where you are emotionally!
