Emotional Education : Ginger, Nutmeg, & Cinnamon Bark
These three oils are often in our diffusers this season, but what emotional benefits do they have?
This is the time of year where we tend to feel more run-down, stressed, or even exhausted. Some of this is avoidable with lifestyle changes. However, some of it is just the feelings of the season! First, let's go over the emotional benefits of these oils. -Eryn Jones
THESE 3 OILS HELP WITH THE FOLLOWING EMOTIONS:
Ginger: Lack
Nutmeg: Exhaustion
Cinnamon Bark: Irritation
All emotions we feel this time of year! Also our emotions are tied to specific parts of our bodies. For example, we feel anger in a different place than we feel sadness or stress.
HERE ARE SPECIFIC PLACES THESE EMOTIONS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH.
Ginger: over our stomachs to support feeling full and complete
Nutmeg: over our adrenals (center of our mid-low back)- supporting the functions of this small gland that controls so much of our energy and hormones!
Cinnamon Bark: over our pancreas (upper right abdomen)- supporting, once again, a gland that helps our digestive system make hormones.
To use these to help support you emotionally, simply add them to the diffuser, inhale, or add to a roller. I like to add 10 drops each of all 3 and top off with a carrier oil and roll it onto the three places listed above before heading into a full day!
