Surviving Springtime Blooms
Tis the season for beautiful blooming flowers... and pollen! If you struggle this time of year, this post is for you! -Ashley Cribb
RECOMMENDED OILS
We swear by this 'Bloom Roller':
10 drops Peppermint, 10 drops Tea Tree, 10 drops Lemon, 10 drops Lavender, 10 drops Copaiba
Top with V-6 carrier or fractionated coconut oil.
Other oils:
RC, Eucalyptus (any variation), Raven, Ravintsara, Roman or German Chamomile, Frankincense.
DAILY HABITS
Diffuse your choice of oils for 1 hour every 2 hours or as needed
Put 2-3 drops in your hands, rub together and cup over your nose and inhale
Rub roller ball under your nose, on wrists and on feet throughout the day
Do a "lavender swipe" by taking one drop of Lavender Vitality and swiping it on the inside of your cheek or drop directly under the tongue
Put 8-10 drops on a cotton ball and place in the vents of your car OR use a car diffuser if you have a USB port in your car
Take a vegetable capsule with Lavender, Lemon, and Peppermint 2 times daily. Do the same with Digize 2 times daily.
Make your own nasal rinse salts - to 1 cup of fine sea salt add 5 drops lavender + 5 drops copaiba. Mix well, then use about 1 tsp in warm water for a nasal irrigaiton.
Consider cutting out dairy - it promotes congestion!
