Nature's Ultra CBD is a GDS Favorite for sure! So with all the buzz about is, let's chat the what/how/why of CBD!

WHAT IS CBD? IT IS MARIJUANA?
Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a chemical compound from the cannabis plant (Cannabis sativa). CBD is typically the second most abundant cannabinoid in cannabis plants, next to tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC.

CBD is NOT marijuana and has no mind-altering effects!

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CBD OIL?
CBD alone has amazing health benefits, but when you add essential oils to the mix you get a 1+1= 3 scenario! EOs replace some of the chemical constituents lost when the THC is removed, so you get more benefit and no unwanted side effects!

  • Mental Support: Some studies have found CBD may be effective in providing relief from various mental health conditions. Check out this post for more about CBD and Emotions.

  • Pain Relief: From various types of pain, such as arthritis, neuropathic pain, and more.

  • Seizures/epilepsy

  • Immunity: Improves immunity and reduces inflammation.

  • Cancer treatments: Inhibition of tumor growth and reduction of chemotherapy-related nausea

Multiple studies on both animals and humans show that the CBD compound has anxiolytic effects- lowers heart rate, calms CNS, helps bring balance to the body during times of stress.
And the cool thing is that these studies are not showing side effects. CBD is able to help our bodies ability to calm itself down, without being invasive or intrusive to the body!

It was THE craziest feeling because I could legitimately feel my muscles (all contracted) start to elongate and just RELAX. CBD FOR BEAUTY + SELFCARE

Have you been using Nature’s Ultra CBD and loving it? I have, and am always looking for creative out-of-the-box ways to use our oils and products! LOVE these easy DIYs from fellow oiler Brhea Koneman.

Here are a few ways to put that CBD to good use:

CBD EPSOM SALT SOAK

  • 1 cup of Epsom salt

  • 20 or so drops of the essential oil(s) of your choice (we used lavender, frankincense and bergamot)

  • 1 dropper filled with Citrus CBD

  • Mix well to combine, place in a jar, add to running bath water. We also love adding dried flowers to my bath soaks!

Most relaxing bath EVER plus it is soooo good for your muscles and body overall!

CBD BRIGHTENING BEAUTY MASK

Mix well, then gently paint onto face with a clean makeup brush. Let dry (this is a great time to get in that CBD epsom salt bath!), and then gently rinse off.

BLUE HAZE CBD FACIAL SERUM

The ULTIMATE facial care serum that is more effective than any other beauty serum on the market!!

Get a 30ml glass dropper bottle, fill most of the way with the skin loving oil of your choice (we love argan oil  for dry skin, you may prefer jojoba oil for mixed or, rosehip oil etc.) then add;

Apply over face and neck daily for healthy, glowing skin!
